A review up to vol 10 (spoiler free):
This is one of those novels with an extremely OP main character. The setting takes place between various battlefields that he has to report to when he’s given a mission, but mostly in a school environment where he is learning to be more “human” (he’s had a rough childhood). The supporting cast is fairly decent, and there’s some development there but the girls kinda fall into their tropes of Tsundere, Yandere, Deredere, etc. That being said, when they do get some character development, it’s really good and it sticks. They don’t generally revert back to pre-development mentalities. All in all, this is a really good read. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and it gets pretty dark at times.

Is this the series that has a terrible official translation?? Can’t remember. I just remember reading the first volume of a series, and thinking.. “this MUST be fan translated”, only to find out it was an official version.
